Hamzat and Ojelabi Praise Traditional Rulers in Lagos

During the Lagos Baal Forum, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, and Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, commended traditional rulers for their efforts in maintaining peace and unity within the state.

The forum included a special prayer for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and focused on strengthening collaboration between traditional institutions and the state government. Hamzat noted that traditional rulers serve as a vital link between the government and citizens at the grassroots level, reaffirming the government's commitment to creating an enabling environment for them to effectively discharge their responsibilities.

High Chief Abu Jelili Ododo, the Chairman of the Lagos Baal Forum, pledged unwavering support for the APC and emphasized the importance of mobilizing voters ahead of the 2027 general elections. The forum aimed to deepen cooperation between traditional institutions and the government for sustainable development in Lagos State.
