Bournemouth has announced that Marco Rose will succeed Andoni Iraola as the head coach of the Premier League club next season. Iraola, who has been highly rated, revealed last week that he will depart from the club at the end of the current campaign, which concludes in three years.

Rose, a former coach of Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, has signed a three-year deal with Bournemouth. He will take charge of the club as they aim for European qualification for the first time in their history, with five games remaining in the current Premier League season.

The 49-year-old Rose is known for deploying a high-press style, similar to what Iraola successfully implemented, and has a track record of improving young players. Iraola has been linked to several Premier League jobs, including a potential return to Athletic Bilbao.
