BPP Partners with OHCSF to Launch New Performance System

The Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a delegation from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) to implement a new Performance Management System (PMS). This signing took place at the BPP Office in Abuja and marks a significant shift from the Annual Performance Evaluation Report (APER) system to a more results-oriented and digital framework across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
Dr. Adebowale A. Adedokun, the Director-General/CEO of BPP, praised the OHCSF's efforts in public service reforms and highlighted that the transition to PMS aligns with the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan aimed at improving productivity, transparency, and performance tracking.
He affirmed the Bureau's commitment to meritocracy, transparency, and digital governance, stating that the PMS is designed to enhance institutional accountability and service delivery standards within the procurement regulatory framework.
