BPP Temporarily Lifts Suspension of Non-Compliant Directors

The Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) has temporarily lifted the suspension of directors who were sanctioned for failing to comply with recent posting directives. This includes Mr.

Okobiah Koriotaa, Director of Procurement at the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, and Mr. Habu Esther Dyaji, Director of Procurement at the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.

The suspension was initially imposed due to unsatisfactory responses to queries regarding compliance. Dr.

Adebowale Adedokun, the Director General and CEO of BPP, convened a meeting to address the matter directly, stating that disciplinary actions were taken to correct observed anomalies and restore order within the procurement system. The BPP emphasized the need for strict adherence to deployment directives to ensure uninterrupted service delivery across ministries and agencies.

The decision to lift the suspension is subject to further review and compliance monitoring, reinforcing the BPP's commitment to maintaining integrity and transparency in public procurement processes.
