ADC Chieftain Ibrahim Wala Slams Presidential Primary Results

Ibrahim Wala, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), publicly condemned the party's presidential primary election process, describing it as a "brazen, shameless auction" that betrayed democratic ideals. Wala rejected the results of the primary election, which involved former Minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi, stating that the process did not meet the promised standards of transparency and fairness.

He expressed his concerns in a Facebook post, asserting that the conduct of the election reflected poorly on the ADC, which has often criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Wala called on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to distance himself from the "dirty concocted" results and warned that accepting them would harm the ADC's credibility.

He emphasized that the primary election unfairly treated young political aspirants, whom he described as the greatest casualties of the flawed process. Wala firmly stated that he and Amaechi would not accept the results, which he claimed were manipulated.
