ADC Group Rejects Adamawa Presidential Primary as Fraudulent

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) group in Adamawa State has publicly rejected the conduct of the presidential primary election, describing it as a "charade" and a "fictitious" process designed to mislead the public. Group member Hussain Hamman, a prominent figure from Yola South Local Government Area, expressed concerns during a press briefing in Yola on Tuesday.

He alleged that the party's leadership was biased in favor of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, undermining democratic principles and resulting in a fraudulent process. Hamman asserted that the election results could not be credible, as there was virtually no voting activity across the state except for Ajiya Ward in Yola North LGA, where he claimed a crowd was mobilized to create an illusion of a legitimate election.

He criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its leadership under President Bola Tinubu for allegedly inflating and manipulating figures in their own primary elections, stating that the situation in Adamawa was even worse, with no real election taking place.
