APC Leads in Anambra Governorship Election Initial Results

In the ongoing Anambra Governorship election, APC candidate Nicholas Ukachukwu has taken an early lead by securing 126 votes at Umudimala 1 Polling Unit 011 in Osumenyi Ward 2, Nnewi South Local Government Area. This result was announced by INEC's presiding officer, Esther Ojukwu, with Ukachukwu defeating the incumbent governor who garnered only six votes at the same polling unit.

The election is expected to be a closely contested race between the APC and the incumbent governor.
