BREAKING: Army Redeploys 17 Senior Officers In Major Shake-Up (FULL LIST)

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has approved the redeployment of 17 senior officers in a major shake-up within the Nigerian Army. The redeployment affects Principal Staff Officers, General Officers Commanding, Corps Commanders, Commandants of training schools, and Brigade Commanders.

The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening operational efficiency, enhancing administrative performance, and boosting the fight against terrorism and insurgency. Major General Adeyinka has been moved to the Nigerian Army Corps of Supply and Transport, Major General Adekeye reassigned to the Department of Standards and Evaluation, and Major General Ugiagbe appointed as the Chief of Personnel Management.

The redeployment also includes appointments to key positions such as Provost Marshal, Corps Commander of Supply and Transport, and Director General of the Nigerian Army Finance Corporation. COAS Oluyede emphasized the importance of the newly deployed officers remaining committed to their duties in the face of the security challenges Nigeria is currently facing.
