COAS Reshuffles Army High Command

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has approved a major reshuffle of the Nigerian Army's high command to enhance operational effectiveness. The redeployment includes senior officers being appointed to key command and instructional staff positions in various formations and units.

Some of the key appointments include Major General AA Adeyinka as Principal Staff Officer for the Nigerian Army Corp Supply and Transport, Major General AA Adekeye as Chief Logistics of the Army, and Major General TB Ugiagbe as Chief Personnel Management of the Army. Other appointments include Major General AA Idris as Chief Military Intelligence of the Army and Major General MO Erebulu as Provost Marshall of the Army.

These changes aim to strengthen the Nigerian Army's operational and administrative structure.
