ASUU Suspends Warning Strike, Gives FG One-Month Ultimatum for Agreement Renegotiation

Chris Piwuna announced the decision in Abuja after the union's National Executive Council meeting. The strike was aimed at pressuring the government to return to the negotiation table, which has now been achieved.

ASUU praised the intervention of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Education, TETFund, and the Deputy Senate President in restoring confidence in the dialogue process. Failure to meet commitments within the ultimatum will result in the resumption of industrial action.
