FG and ASUU to Meet to Prevent University Strike Threat

The Federal Government and ASUU will meet on Monday and Tuesday to avert a potential nationwide university strike stemming from the renegotiation of a 2009 agreement. ASUU's National Executive Council will decide on industrial action following the meeting.

Dr. Tunji Alausa reiterated the government's commitment to fulfilling ASUU's demands, while President Bola Tinubu emphasized the need to keep public universities open.
