BREAKING: Ekiti Governor Oyebanji Sacks Commissioners, Special Advisers

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has announced the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council, sacking all Commissioners and Special Advisers. The announcement was made by the Secretary of State Government, Habibat Adubiaro, late on Sunday, directing the affected officials to hand over to the Permanent Secretary of their respective ministries.

Governor Oyebanji expressed appreciation for the outgoing officials' service and wished them success in their future endeavors. However, certain key members of the cabinet, including the State Attorney General, Commissioner of Justice, and others, were excluded from the dissolution.

Directors-General and some members of the State Executive Council will also retain their positions. The Governor clarified that the dissolution does not affect the Director-General of the Office of Transformation Service Delivery, Director-General of SDGs Project Monitoring, and others.
