El-Rufai Petitions PSC Against Kaduna Police Commissioner for Misconduct

Former Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has filed a petition with the Police Service Commission (PSC) against the Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, accusing him of gross misconduct and abuse of office. El-Rufai urged the PSC to launch an immediate impartial investigation into the alleged violations of the Police Act.

The petition, dated September 8, highlighted the commissioner's actions as unlawful and unconstitutional. El-Rufai emphasized his civic responsibility to ensure accountability within the Nigeria Police Force.

The former governor accused the police commissioner of summoning members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) unlawfully, blocking a party meeting in the state.
