El-Rufai Petitions Police Commission Over Kaduna Command's Alleged Misconduct

Former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has petitioned the Police Service Commission (PSC) over alleged unprofessional conduct and abuse of office by officers in the Kaduna State Police Command. The petition cites serial violations of the Police Act 2020 regulations.

El-Rufai demanded an immediate, impartial, and exhaustive investigation into the alleged unlawful and unconstitutional behavior of the officers. The petition also condemned the disruption of a meeting of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition in Kaduna.

This move reflects a breakdown in policing, according to El-Rufai, who seeks accountability and transparency in the conduct of law enforcement in the state.
