BREAKING: FG Compensates Kwam 1  With Appointment Amid Airport Controversy

The Federal Government has appointed Fuji music icon Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, known as Kwam 1, as an ambassador for airport security protocol despite recent controversy surrounding his alleged misconduct aboard a ValueJet flight. The announcement was made by Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo, who stated that the government viewed the incident as an opportunity to raise public awareness about proper conduct at airports.

Kwam 1 had been handed a lifetime flight ban and remanded in Kirikiri Prison, but after showing remorse, the ban was reduced to one month and the criminal complaint was withdrawn. The Federal Government appealed to Ibom Air to withdraw their complaint, and Kwam 1 will now work with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria to promote proper airport behavior.

Keyamo emphasized that while clemency was granted in this case, aviation laws would continue to be strictly enforced.
