Supporters eagerly await the return of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, who is set to resume office following the lifting of the emergency rule by President Bola Tinubu. Crowds gathered at the Port Harcourt International Airport VIP Lounge in anticipation of Fubara's formal return to the government house.

Fubara, who had been vacationing in Europe, is expected to fly back to Rivers State from Abuja. His absence had caused confusion among loyalists, with Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike confirming Fubara's return.
