BREAKING: Kano governor sacks two senior aides over misconduct

Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Yusuf has fired two senior aides for alleged misconduct. The dismissals came after a probe by an investigative committee revealed their involvement in controversial activities.

One of the aides, Abubakar Umar Sharada, was identified as the mastermind behind securing bail for a suspected drug baron, while the other, Tasiu Adamu Al amin Roba, was accused of diverting palliative grain. The Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Umar Farouk Ibrahim, emphasized that the men must return government property and cease parading as public officials.

Governor Yusuf reiterated his administration's zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and urged all appointees to uphold integrity and transparency in their roles. The public was also cautioned against engaging in corrupt practices with government officials.
