Senator Natasha Storms National Assembly Amid Suspension Drama

Senator Natasha and her supporters stormed the National Assembly as she prepared to resume her position representing Kogi Central in the Senate. This move came after her suspension expired, following allegations of defamation against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and former Kogi governor Yahaya Bello.

Natasha's office, which had been sealed since March, was unsealed by the Deputy Director of the National Assembly. The Senator's appearance in court in Abuja for the trial related to the alleged defamation also coincided with these events.

The situation remains tense as it is unclear if Natasha will be granted immediate access to the chamber upon the plenary resumption.
