NDLEA Commander Dies in Calabar Hotel - Mourning Grips Agency

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) is in mourning after the sudden death of Chief Narcotics Officer Ogbonna Uzoma Femi Babafemi, the Commander in Cross River. Babafemi was found dead in a hotel room in Calabar on September 18, just a month after taking up his duties.

The cause of death is still unknown, prompting an investigation by the State police. NDLEA Chairman Brigadier General Buba Marwa has directed the Zonal Commander to assist in the investigation.
