NDLEA Cross River Commander Found Dead in Calabar Hotel Room

The Cross River State Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Morrison Ogbonna, was found dead in a hotel room in Calabar. Ogbonna's body was discovered by an officer who went to pick him up for a scheduled assignment.

The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear. Ogbonna had been transferred to Cross River in August 2025.
