Nnamdi Kanu Moved to Sokoto Prison After Sentencing

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been moved from DSS detention to Sokoto Prison after being sentenced to life imprisonment by Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja for multiple terrorism-related charges. Kanu was immediately remanded in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Service after the judgment.
