Wike Vows to Block Ireti Kingibe's Senate Return

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has publicly stated his commitment to ensuring that Ireti Kingibe does not return as the Senator representing the FCT. During a media chat with journalists in Abuja, Wike criticized Kingibe's performance in the Senate, accusing her of lacking accountability and failing to deliver effective public service.

He emphasized that the report card of her tenure would reflect her inadequate performance. Wike dismissed claims that Kingibe had attempted to contact him, stating, "I don’t even know her number." He reiterated his focus on governance-driven measures that yield tangible results and stressed the importance of collaboration with the community.
