Obi and Kwankwaso Visit NDC Amid Defection Speculation

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State, visited the headquarters of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) in Abuja. Obi announced his resignation from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) due to unresolved internal disputes and described the political atmosphere within the party as toxic. He has emerged as a leading opposition figure following the 2023 presidential elections.

Meanwhile, Kwankwaso, a prominent leader of the Kwankwasiyya political movement, is exploring potential alliances among opposition blocs.
