Osun Governor Adeleke Resigns from PDP Amid Leadership Crisis

Osun State Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke has resigned from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) due to the escalating leadership crisis within the party. Adeleke submitted his resignation letter to the PDP leadership in Sagba Abogund Ward 2 of Ed North Local Government Area.

He expressed gratitude to party members for their support but noted that the prolonged internal wrangling in the party made his continued membership untenable. Adeleke acknowledged the support he received across various election cycles and described the PDP as a vehicle that helped him achieve significant milestones in his political journey.
