President Tinubu Departs for Annual Leave Abroad

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to jet out of Abuja for his 2025 annual leave, spending 10 working days in France and the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria. The departure was announced in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

The statement did not clarify whether Vice President Kashim Shettima would assume formal duties during Tinubu's absence. Tinubu's annual leave abroad comes at a time of political significance and speculation regarding his future plans and potential presidential ambitions.
