JUST IN: Tinubu Departs Abuja for Japan, Brazil

Former Nigerian Governor and political leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has departed from Abuja for a working visit to Japan and Brazil. The announcement of his departure was made by his Special Adviser on Social Media, Dada Olusegun.

Tinubu's trip will include a brief stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, before heading to Yokohama, Japan to participate in the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) from August 20 to 22. The conference aims to discuss economic cooperation, trade, and sustainable development between African and Japanese leaders.

Following the summit, Tinubu will travel to Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, for a state visit from August 24 to 25, upon the invitation of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
