Lagos Protesters Rally Against Hunger and Demolition

In Lagos, hundreds protested over hunger and the demolition of Oworonshoki buildings, organized by a movement in partnership with civil society organizations. The protesters demanded an end to what they described as the government's anti-poor policies, accusing the state of rendering families homeless without providing alternatives.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was called upon to address the grievances. Security operations were heightened during the protest, with police and LNSC members deployed to maintain peace.

The demonstrators chanted solidarity songs and demanded to meet with government representatives.
