Rivers Governor Fubara Appoints New SSG and Chief of Staff

On Thursday morning, Rivers State Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara announced the appointment of Dr. Dagogo S.

Wokoma as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and a Chief of Staff. This decision was disclosed by the governor's Chief Press Secretary, Mr.

Onwuka Nzeshi. The new appointees are set to be sworn in later today at 2 PM in the Executive Council Chamber of the Government House in Port Harcourt.

This move follows the governor's recent cabinet dissolution, which aligns with discussions regarding the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. The current appointments occur amid fresh impeachment decisions within the Rivers State House of Assembly, indicating a period of significant political activity in the state.
