Rivers State Governor Appoints Five New Permanent Secretaries in Civil Service

Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries in the River State Civil Service, as announced by the Head of Service, Inyingi S. Brown.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries include Wachukwu Vincent Worgu, Cordelia Uwuma Ogboma, Ifeanyi Anthony Jim Jaja, and Mina Gogo Uzor. They are scheduled to be sworn in by the Governor on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

Notably, former Sole Administrator of the state, retired Vice Admiral Ibok Et Iba, had previously appointed eleven Permanent Secretaries before his retirement in June 2025.
