Breaking: Terrorist Kingpin Abubakar Abba Arrested, Flown To Abuja

Niger State Governor Alhaji Mohammed Umaru Bago confirmed the arrest of terrorist kingpin Abubakar Abba, leader of the Mahmuda terrorist organization operating in Borgu local government area spanning Niger and Kwara states. The Department of State Security (DSS) successfully apprehended Abba in Wawa town without firing a single shot, marking a significant victory in the fight against terrorism in West Africa.

Governor Bago's Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, praised the operation as a testament to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's commitment to ending insecurity. Ibrahim highlighted the intelligence and competence of the security services, particularly the DSS, in capturing Abba alive.

The Governor's office expressed determination to collaborate with federal security agencies to combat terrorism effectively.
