Tinubu Meets Former Rivers Administrator Amid Financial Probe

President Bola Tinubu met with former Rivers Sole Administrator Ibok-Ete Ibas amid financial probe news. The meeting took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where Ibas, accompanied by Minister of Finance Wale Edun and EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede, discussed state finance matters.

This meeting follows Ibas' completion of his tenure as sole administrator and the directive to probe state finances. The Rivers State House of Assembly resolved to investigate fund allocation and expenditure during Ibas' emergency administration.

Despite speculation, Ibas, a retired Naval chief, dismissed the planned probe as a fool's errand.
