Rivers Sole Administrator Declares Successful Completion of Tinubu's Mandate

The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ekwe Ibas, declared that he has fulfilled the mandate assigned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Ibas made this declaration at the Government House in Port Harcourt after the successful conclusion of the local government elections by the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC).

The elections were conducted peacefully, electing chairmen and councillors across the state's 23 local government areas. Ibas praised the RSIEC for its credible electoral process and assured a thorough review of the commission's report.

The successful elections aim to stabilize the state, restore institutions, and promote democratic governance in Rivers State.
