BREAKING: Tinubu Orders Immediate Ban on Raw Shea Nuts Export

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the immediate ban on the export of raw shea nuts from Nigeria. This decision comes after the recent commissioning of Africa's largest shea butter processing facility in Niger State earlier this month.

The plant, established by Salid Agriculture Nigeria Limited in Kudu Mokwa Local Government Area, has an annual production capacity of metric tons. CEO Ali Saidu revealed that the company plans to expand its operations to 400 metric tons per day and establish a shea butter refinery.

This move aims to boost the local processing industry and create more value from Nigeria's shea nut resources.
