Breaking: ‘Why We are Considering Using Kwam 1 as Ambassador,’ FG Opens Up

The Federal Government has announced its consideration of appointing veteran Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam 1, as an ambassador for aviation. Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, revealed this decision on Wednesday, August 13, stating that the move aims to ensure proper conduct in airports across Nigeria.

Keyamo also mentioned that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has reduced Kwam 1's flight ban to one month and withdrawn a criminal complaint lodged against him. The decision comes after an incident where the musician clashed with an airport official at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

Keyamo clarified that having repentant offenders preach publicly about their misconduct is a common practice worldwide. The Senate has vowed to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident to uphold operational standards and passenger rights in the aviation sector.
