FG Directs NCAA To Reduce KWAM 1 Ban, Restore Pilots Licenses

The Federal Government has instructed the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to reduce the flight ban on musician KWAM 1, who was accused of unruly conduct that allegedly obstructed the safe operation of an aircraft in violation of regulations. The incident occurred on August 5, 2025, at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

In a statement, Minister Keyamo directed the NCAA to withdraw the criminal complaint lodged by KWAM 1 and restore the licenses of the pilots involved in the incident. The decision was made after consultations with stakeholders in the aviation sector.
