Wike's Ally Anyanwu Challenges PDP Chairman Over Constitution Violation

Senator Samuel Anyanwu, a close ally of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, has written a letter to the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Umar Damagum, accusing him of violating the party's constitution. Anyanwu condemned the dissolution of the Akwa Ibom and Cross River State Working Committees and their replacement with caretaker committees, deeming it unconstitutional.

He cited specific sections of the PDP Constitution and warned that actions taken by the allegedly illegally constituted National Working Committee (NWC) are null and void. Anyanwu emphasized the need for adherence to the party's internal rules and procedures.
