PDP Confusion as Anyanwu Overrules Dissolution of Akwa Ibom Exco

In the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Anyanwu overruled the National Working Committee's decision to dissolve the Akwa Ibom State Executive Committee. The NWC had announced the dissolution and appointed a caretaker committee, but Anyanwu declared the dissolution null and void.

Anyanwu's intervention came after the National Publicity Secretary, Honourable Debo Ologunagba, had initially announced the dissolution. Anyanwu's letter to the chairman of the exco instructed them to ignore the dissolution and continue their duties.

This conflicting situation has caused confusion within the PDP, highlighting internal disagreements over party leadership and decision-making processes.
