Zamfara Mosque Attack: Gunmen Kill Five Worshipers in Tsafe LGA Tragedy

In Zamfara State, Nigeria, tragedy struck as gunmen attacked a mosque in Yandoto village, Tsafe LGA, killing at least five worshippers and injuring several others. The assailants opened fire indiscriminately on worshippers during the early hours of Friday, causing shock and horror in the community.

Additionally, an unspecified number of worshippers were reportedly abducted while trying to escape into the nearby forest. This barbaric incident adds to the recent wave of violence in the region, with a similar attack occurring just a week prior in Gidan Turbe village.

The state police command is investigating the attack, which also coincides with the tragic collapse of a gold pit in Kadauri village, where around 100 illegal miners are feared dead.
