Bandits Abduct 40 Worshippers in Zamfara State, Sparking Community Panic

In Zamfara State, armed bandits abducted 40 worshippers during the dawn prayer at Gidan Turbe village in Tsafe Local Government Area. The assailants, heavily armed, took the victims towards a mountain known as Gahori.

This incident has caused panic in the community, leading many residents to flee their homes for safety. Bandit attacks have intensified in southern Tsafe, affecting multiple villages.

Despite these challenges, Operation Faslan Yamma (OPFY) troops continue their offensive operations across Zamfara, Katsina, and Kebbi States, thwarting several bandit attacks.
