Officer Woos Defends Silence on Broda Shaggi's Absence

Officer Woos, whose real name is Jubril Oladapo, responded to a critic on X on 23 October 2026, who accused him of not addressing Broda Shaggi's absence from the public eye. The critic, using the handle @krezzyof30BG, pointed out that Shaggi had been inactive since March 2026 due to a stray bullet injury.

The critic specifically noted that none of Shaggi's close associates, including Officer Woos, had publicly commented on the situation. In his reply, Officer Woos used Nigerian Pidgin to question why he should be expected to announce his colleague's personal circumstances, stating, "as town crier wey i be abi?" This response garnered support from many users who felt the criticism was unjust, arguing that personal health matters should not be the responsibility of associates to disclose.

The debate reflects ongoing tensions in Nigerian social media regarding the balance between personal loyalty and public accountability among creators.
