Bayern Munich Held to Goalless Draw by Schalke

Bayern Munich faced Schalke in Gelsenkirchen, where they were held to a goalless draw, marking the first time in 59 competitive matches that the Bundesliga champions failed to score. Luis Diaz had two significant chances to score but missed both, including a one-on-one against Schalke goalkeeper Loris Karius.

Bayern manager Vincent Kompany rotated his squad, with Harry Kane and Michael Olise starting on the bench. Bayern controlled possession in the first half but struggled to create clear chances.

Kane was substituted in at halftime, while Olise and Jamal Musiala entered the match later, with Musiala making his season debut after recovering from seizures. Despite increased pressure from Bayern, including a late effort from Kane that was saved by Karius, Schalke's defense held firm.
