Yobe Governor Signs N515bn 2026 Budget into Law, Focuses on Development

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, signed a N515 billion budget for 2026 at the banquet hall of the government house in Damaturu. The budget, passed by the State House of Assembly led by Speaker Chiroma Buba Mashio, allocates funds for capital programs and recurrent expenditures to transform various sectors.

The budget aims to improve the quality of life for the people of Yobe State through strategic financial planning. Adjustments were made to the initial budget proposal before its signing.
