Niger State Governor Presents N1.31 Trillion Budget for 2026 Fiscal Year

Governor Umaru Bago of Niger State has proposed a N1.31 trillion budget for the 2026 fiscal year to the Niger State House of Assembly. The budget aims to consolidate growth and sustain development by prioritizing sectors such as agriculture, education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

Key allocations include N107.9 billion for agriculture, N72 billion for healthcare, and N761.6 billion for infrastructure development. The budget is expected to be funded through various revenue sources, including statutory allocations, value-added tax, internal revenue generation, and capital receipts.
