Gombe Governor Signs N617.95bn Budget with Focus on Security and Social Investments

Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has signed a budget of N617.95 billion for 2026, with a significant allocation towards security, health, education, and social investments. The budget includes N189 billion for recurrent expenditure and N428.5 billion for capital projects.

Governor Yahaya emphasized the government's commitment to safety, completion of ongoing projects, and citizen-focused development. The budget also features allocations for regional security funds and special provisions for the Gombe State Commission for Persons with Disabilities (GSCPWD).
