Aondoakaa Urges Peaceful Response to Campaign Material Arson

Chief Michael Aondoakaa, the governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State, condemned the alleged burning of his campaign materials by rival supporters over the weekend. In a statement, Aondoakaa called on his supporters to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding, urging them not to retaliate or engage in violence.

He emphasized that no act of provocation should lead them to abandon the principles of peace, justice, tolerance, and the rule of law that underpin their campaign. Aondoakaa asserted that the strength of their campaign, encapsulated in the slogan "Benue First," lies not in physical campaign materials but in the people's convictions and aspirations for a safer, more prosperous state.

He urged his supporters to respect the law and the democratic process, stating that their conduct should reflect the values of the movement.
