Aondoakaa Promises Economic Opportunities for Youths

Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, the governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State, has vowed to address political thuggery by expanding economic opportunities for the youth if elected in 2027. During a gathering with commercial motorcycle operators in Makurdi, Aondoakaa stated that his administration would provide financial support through cooperatives and entrepreneurship schemes to help young people become self-employed and financially independent.

He emphasized the importance of channeling the energy of Benue youths towards productive ventures rather than political violence. Aondoakaa also committed to partnering with the private sector to create significant job opportunities annually across the state.

He criticized the development of personality cults around political leaders and asserted that his leadership would focus on serving the people rather than elevating individuals. Aondoakaa's plans include encouraging the formation of viable cooperatives to support young entrepreneurs and various groups in accessing financial resources for business establishment and expansion.
