Real estate developer and former governorship candidate, Gbadamosi, advised Nigerians to buy AK-47 rifles and learn to use them, urging resistance against disarmament attempts amidst insecurity and bandit attacks. Kwara State Governor vowed to bring justice for the recent deadly attack in Ifelodun Local Government Area, with intensified military operations in the state.

The Army Headquarters relocated the General Officer Commanding to Ilorin for this purpose. The combined forces of the Army, DSS, and Police launched a major offensive along the border.

The statement emphasized the need for additional federal deployment to secure the Kwara border community.
