Bye-Election: Abiodun Applauds Peaceful Conduct In Remo

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, praised the peaceful conduct of the bye-election in Remo, specifically in the Remo Federal Constituency. Speaking after casting his vote at Polling Unit 002 in Ita Osanyin Ward, Abiodun commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the prompt delivery of electoral materials.

He expressed satisfaction with the turnout and orderly voting process, despite minor issues with the Biometric Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) capturing facial images. Abiodun noted that INEC had put measures in place to address the BVAS issue and ensure a successful election.

He also acknowledged the improvement in the quality of services rendered by INEC over the years. The governor emphasized the importance of peace and unity in the electoral process, following the death of Hon.
