Bye-election: Tinubu’s minister, Adelabu meets aggrieved APC aspirants [PHOTOS

Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, held a meeting with aggrieved aspirants who contested in the concluded primary election to fill a vacant position in the Ibadan North Federal Constituency. The election is set to take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, following the death of the last occupant of the seat, Hon.

Musliudeen Olaide Akinremi. The meeting was convened in Ibadan, Oyo State, where Adelabu appealed to the aspirants to support the party's choice for the election.

One of the aggrieved aspirants, Saheed Aderounmu, spoke on behalf of the group, expressing dissatisfaction with the nomination of Adewale Haastrup Olatunji as the party's candidate. Adelabu assured the aspirants of the party's commitment to their success in the coming election.
