CBN Governor Cardoso to Address Fintech Roundtable 2026

Mr. Olayemi Cardoso, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), will serve as the Special Guest of Honour at the 3rd Business Journal Fintech & Financial Inclusion Roundtable 2026, scheduled to take place in Lagos.

The CBN confirmed Cardoso's participation over the weekend. The roundtable's theme is "Fintech: Driving the Future of Digital Financial Ecosystem in Nigeria." Other notable attendees include Dr.

Aminu Maida, Executive Vice-Chairman/CEO of the Nigerian Communications Commission, and Mr. Olusegun Omosehin, the commissioner for insurance.

The event will be chaired by Dr. Umaru Kwairanga, Group Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group.

Keynote speakers will include Mr. Emmanuel Ovaga, CEO of PufferPay Limited, and Dr.

Chinyere Almona, Director-General/CEO of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Dr.

Muda Yusuf, CEO of the Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise, will educate the public, while Mrs. Idu Okeahialam, Group Managing Director/CEO of Royal Exchange Plc, will also attend.

Additionally, Obioha Oti, President of the Association of Mobile Money and Bank Agents in Nigeria, will be present.
